The 2023 ASNM Annual Meeting will be hosted by the Jornada Research Institute (JRI) in Ruidoso at the Ruidoso Convention Center on May 5-7, 2023. The 2023 ASNM annual volume honoree, James Copeland, will be officially honored at the meeting with the annual volume “Documenting the Dinétah: Papers in Honor of James M. Copeland.” Presentations will focus on the archaeology of southeastern New Mexico and include the Bandelier Lecture by Myles Miller. On Friday evening, David Greenwald, President of JRI, will present on his ongoing investigation at the Creekside Village site and other sites with great kivas along the Rio Tularosa.
